This Cookie Policy explains how Alaaqat for Information Technology (علاقات لتكنولوجيا المعلومات), registered in Jordan under commercial register number 545258 ("Alaaqat", "we"), uses cookies and similar technologies across our marketing website (alaaqat.com), our application (app.alaaqat.com) and our documentation site.
Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which covers how we process personal data and your rights, and, for business customers, our Data Processing Agreement.
1. How we use cookies and ask for consent
Strictly necessary cookies make the site work (keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and storing your cookie choice); they need no consent. All other cookies — analytics and marketing — are set only after you consent through our banner. Nothing is pre-ticked, and the analytics and advertising tools stay inactive until you accept.
Your choice is stored in a single cookie_consent cookie on the .alaaqat.com domain, shared across our three properties so you are asked only once, and kept for six months before we ask again.
2. Changing or withdrawing your consent
Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent (GDPR Art. 7(3)):
- In the application: Settings → Preferences.
- On the marketing and documentation sites: the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
When you withdraw a category, we delete that category's cookies from our domains. Cookies that LinkedIn sets on its own domain can be cleared in your browser.

Our attribution cookies are written only with marketing consent and are read when you create an account, to attribute the sign-up to the campaign that brought you.
4. International transfers
Google, Meta and LinkedIn may process data in the United States and other countries; each is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Matomo is self-hosted, so its data stays on our own servers.
